About Alexa

Alexa has worked in the fitness industry as a trainer for over 5 years, and is based out of Waco, Texas. After going through her own up-and-down, yo-yo dieting journey, she completely revamped her mindset and training style, and has since helped women train smartly and eat balanced without extremes and neuroticism.

After getting pregnant with her first child in 2017, Alexa realized that there's not a lot of individualized information on how to train in pregnancy and after. She used herself as her own experiment, and got a pregnancy & postpartum exercise certification to help learn about the woman's body in this chapter. It was incredibly eye-opening, and she learned through her own experience and certifications that pregnancy and the postpartum period have their own considerations that are different for every woman. From that point, it became her passion to help women learn exactly how to listen to their bodies in pregnancy and postpartum, and train in a way that sets them up for success without long-term symptoms like peeing their pants everytime they run or jump.

Alexa is an ACE-certified personal trainer, a Metabolic Effect level 3 nutrition coach, a FitForBirth Pre & Postnatal Corrective Exercise specialist, and a Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism Coach through Everyday Battles.
